Our theme for [RE]LEARN 2020: #OurTimeIsNOW - co‑designing and implementing a new Learning Paradigm
[RE]LEARN is the online festival where actionable learning innovation is shared and grown among education professionals that are positively changing education worldwide.
Between the 9th and 20th of November 2020, [RE]LEARN will bring together learning innovation Thought Leaders, Education Leaders, Change Leaders and Educators from across the world for a 2 weeks long online festival to share, learn and develop methods to bring about a global shift in education.
The Opportunity is Now! The COVID-19 pandemic has created the largest disruption of education systems in history, now is the time to embrace the momentum and make change happen.
COVID-19 has accelerated the need for change in education. The time for re-imagining is past. It’s now time to act. We cannot wait for governments to change policies. Join us and become empowered to make an impact in your community. Thousands of small steps for change will lead to significant change!
Many are already promoting the cause for a global shift in education, but the community is fragmented. [RE]LEARN offers a 2 weeks long online platform for like-minded innovators, educators and lifelong learners to connect globally. Communicate your area of passion, connect and make change happen, together!
Now it’s the time to transform our education system. Learn technology and other innovations are spreading across communities and motivated education leaders, educators, parents and learners are moving towards the new paradigms of learning. Let's all come together to self-set the direction of 21st century learning!
If you want to have a big fire, you start with a little one and keep the fire burning. We, the learning innovators, are the fire keepers of the global shift in education.
Getting a degree at a good university doesn’t guarantee a good job or a job for life anymore. The system has changed so education needs to change.
Learn (as an innocent child) - Unlearn (everything given via school) - Relearn (how to live).
Parents stick to the traditional education system because they believe it will lead their kids to a productive work life and success, but we all know that path is broken.
Suggesting parents not to take the traditional path for their kids’ education is terrifying. We need to provide compelling examples of what a new model of education could look like.
The whole education system is based on making a better version of a system that does not work. All you get is a better version of a broken system…
Students are currently being prepared for a world that doesn’t exist anymore.
Well, the Force is what gives a Jedi his power. It’s an energy field created by all living things. It surrounds us and penetrates us. It binds the galaxy together.
Fantastic speakers at #relearn2020 has me thinking How can I facilitate reduction of the load for all? Refocus on depth & strength building as learners? Celebrate engagement in learning within families? Finally, how can we build our own & others' confidence as creative learners?— Jenny O'Fee (@JenOFee) April 7, 2020
What a way to launch into a new day of #distancelearning! What a way to reignite the passion that was suppressed because of the daily stresses of #WFH and trying to manage it all. Today is not going to be Wash. Rinse. Repeat. kinda day for me. Thank you all... #relearn2020 https://t.co/k0zdZ4jKlR— Esra Acet Murray (@ezziemur) April 7, 2020

#relearn2020 #Cambridge #Coffee #barefoot and the fascinating conversation unfolding about #relationalteaching. Dialogue with colleagues in Iceland unpicking both practices and processes of connection in digital contexts. Great stuff.
